How we review
Every number on this site traces to a source. Reviews are produced by the CryptoList Research system: a structured fact database where each fee, feature and regulatory status carries a source URL and a verification date, refreshed on an automated schedule. Prose is generated from those facts — it cannot contradict them.
The score
Exchange scores weight five factors: fees (30%) — the all-in cost including spread, not the headline number; safety (25%) — regulatory standing, incident history, custody practices; ease of use (20%); coin range (15%); and support (10%). Wallets weight security model, transparency (open source), asset support, usability and value.
What commissions can't do
Some links are affiliate links (marked *). They never change a score, a rank, or a "best for" label — several platforms we rank highly pay us nothing, and platforms that pay us appear below ones that don't. Ranking logic is identical for every entity in the database. See how we make money.
Honesty rules
- Every review lists genuine cons — a review with no downsides is an advertisement.
- Incident and penalty history renders automatically from our database and cannot be quietly omitted.
- Pages display when their facts were last verified. Stale facts trigger automatic re-verification.
- Errors are corrected and logged on our corrections page.
